Selcuk University Faculty of Technology is one of the 21 Technology Faculties established to train engineers with high application skills needed by the industry with the decision of the Council of Ministers published in the Official Gazette dated 13.11.2009 and numbered 27405. In the 2012-2013 academic year, students were admitted to our Mechanical Engineering Department and undergraduate education started. Our department still continues its education and training with 16 Faculty Members and 2 Research Assistants.

Keeping the responsibility of citizenship and contributing to social development in the foreground, providing undergraduate and graduate education in cooperation in a competitive and dynamic society, having the ability to think universally, who can produce scientific research and technology that is beneficial to the country and humanity, to increase the quality of life of the society, To train mechanical engineers with broad horizons.

It constitutes a pioneering and leading department where innovation in science and technology, quality in education and training will be at a high level, transforms research results into technology within universal criteria, has the necessary infrastructure for professional development, and understands the necessity of lifelong learning.
