P.Ç. 1 In virtue of the property of being interdisciplinary, the talent of understanding and analyzing the value systems on which thinking styles on universal level depends is gained to the student.
P.Ç. 2 The talent of philosophical and scientific thinking is improved in the student through the effective use of the abilities of analysis, synthesis and critical thinking.
P.Ç. 3 The students are enabled to recognize and evaluate the literature by providing them with the formation pertaining to different disciplines within the domain of social sciences (e.g., sociology, psychology, history, religion).
P.Ç. 4 The students are enabled to express their own thoughts in a consistent, free and effective manner in the form of an argumentation by providing them with the capacity of correct and critical thinking through text reading, comprehension and interpretation.
P.Ç. 5 The talents of explaining, applying and evaluating the fundamental dynamics of social and personal life are enabled in an academic manner.
P.Ç. 6 The student is enabled to gain an advanced level of awareness about the fundamental questions such as knowledge, value and truth, and to transfer this awareness to the society where she lives in virtue of the ability to read, write and express thoughts in native or foreign language effectively in front of the society.
P.Ç. 7 A talent is enabled to make correct judgments during decision making processes for problems, to develope rational attitudes and to generate creative ideas through making the analysis and synthesis of knowledge within the stage of solving the problem.
P.Ç. 8 An awareness is gained related to the problems of basic fields of philosophy (e.g., metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, aesthetics) and their solution.
P.Ç. 9 A talent of transferring the cultural and scientific heritage to the next generations is enabled through improving the level of consciousness pertaining to moral values, political system and human rights.
P.Ç. 10 Knowledge and equipment pertaining to scientific method and research techniques are provided with, and in virtue of this, a talent of inquiry and literature review within the philosophical literature is gained.
P.Ç. 11 An ability to interpret environmental problems, medical and technological developments is gained from a philosophical point of view.
P.Ç. 12 The student's belief about the determination of the principles and norms of interpersonal relations is reinforced and a talent of experiencing this belief is gained in the field of application.
P.Ç. 13 The student is provided with the ability to interpret state of affairs from her philosophical point of view through the familiarity with philosophical argumentation.
P.Ç. 14 Provided with the talent to reinterpret daily events by way of the texts related to philosophy and the history of science, the student is enabled to use this talent in her personal and social life after graduation.
P.Ç. 15 The curiosity of the student on the fundamental philosophical problems she is interested at is encouraged and a talent of deepening within the field in question is enabled.
P.Ç. 16 The student is given the ability to establish a balance between theory and practice, thus it is facilitated the production and dissemination of philosophical knowledge in the society.
P.Ç. 17 The equipment and qualifications that are needed to be involved in scientific, academic, technological research and projects that are organized in native or foreign language are gained.
P.Ç. 18 In order to ensure the society to transform into a safe, healthy and peaceful place and to raise the quality of life, an aspect of philosophical thinking that enforces/encourages respecting differences and understanding them is internalized by the student.
P.Ç. 19 It is gained that the knowledge, talent and equipment enabling the systematic reproduction of the information that have been transferred during the undergraduate education within the professional work environment and the academic education after graduation.
